A big well done to our TY debating team who have secured another win to progress to the top 32 schools in the Concern Worldwide Debating competition!

At the end of this term, I want to thank the teachers and staff of DCS for their collective effort in delivering the best education for our students.

DCS was alive with Christmas cheer last week as the Transition Year Show SPIDEREILE took to the stage.

It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in DCS. Our school has been transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland.

In DCS, September is a month of “New Beginnings”. On the one hand, we welcome our new 1st yr students, eager with anticipation, nerves and excitement as they start their new journey in secondary school.

DCS Gradam na Scoile was a fitting celebration to acknowledge and reward the achievements of our students. A very fine group of students, who represent what is best here in DCS were singled out from their peers and invited to an awards ceremony.

After a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic, our Transition Years made a welcome return to the stage.

In March this year, there was a tremendous school response to help the victims of the war in Ukraine.
