Senior Volleyball Team Qualify For Semi-Finals 🏐🏅

The DCS Senior Volleyball Team competed in the All Ireland Volleyball School Cup quarter finals last Monday where we faced two strong teams in Dungarvan College and Portlaoise College. Firstly Douglas played Dungarvan and after 2 sets it was all tied up. However some excellent scores by DCS ensured they took the final set and victory by 15-8.

Next up was Portlaoise College where DCS proved too clinical in the opening set and took the first set 25-10. However in the second set Portlaoise mounted a comeback and challenged DCS all the way to the end. DCS held their composure and emerged victorious. DCS will now progress to the All Ireland semi final stage of the competition against Sutton Park from Dublin.
