Leaving Certificate Geography Field Trip

The Leaving Cert Geography class took a trip to Rocky Bay to conduct a range of experiments and activities that are required to complete their field work. It was a glorious day to do the field study which looked at how the geomorphic process of erosion has helped to shape the landscape. The sun shone as the students measured cliff height, beach profile and wave action and activity. This study and the subsequent report write up will account for 20% of each student’s final grade. They even had a visit from a few seals!! Many thanks to Ms Healy, Ms McMahon and Mr Hayes for organising the trip.
