Great Experience For Our Junior Debaters

Our DCS junior debaters represented the school in a debating competition in Presentation Secondary School, Ballyphehane last Friday, competing against five other Cork schools. 

Seán Ó Súilleabháin, Krish Gopal and Daniel Jordan made up the DCS team with Josh Healy on the adjudicating panel. As they debated, their classmates were in the audience cheering them on and learning a thing or two about debating to enable them to compete in any future competitions.

Although DCS did not take the trophy this time, they represented the school extremely well and a great day out was had by all. Thanks to Ms McGee for organising such a worthwhile event.
