UCC Philosoph Debates

5th year students Jonathan Solomon and Manuel Lopez represented the school in the UCC Philosoph debates yesterday evening. They proposed the motion “Politics has no place in world sporting events”. Despite a very strong performance by Manuel and Jonathan, the motion was defeated. However, Jonathan will progress to the semi final as he won Best Individual Speaker on the night. Well done to all involved!
