Best of luck to David Rath and Alex Jacewicz who currently are representing Ireland in the European Money Quiz 2023 Finals in Brussels.

The event is Europe’s largest financial educational competition for 13 to 15 year old students involving 28 countries. Tested on a series of financial education related questions, David and Alex will take on students from across Europe for a chance to be crowned European Champions and share in a prize fund of €5000 for their school.

Understanding and learning about money and finance is really important for young people and something we strongly encourage within the school. We are really proud of David and Alex’s success and the whole school is rooting for them. Brussels is at the heart of business and financial services in Europe and it is a great opportunity for the students to experience the city, hear from some of Europe’s top financial experts and meet other students from across Europe. We wish the boys and their teacher Maria Barry an enjoyable trip.
