Visit to Trend Micro

TY students enjoyed the opportunity to visit Trend Micro, a global Information Technology and Cybersecurity company, last Friday as part of the TY Cyber Academy programme. Avril Ronan of Trend Micro presented an insightful and educational workshop, focusing on the importance of cyber security and internet safety in today’s world.

The knowledge gained at this workshop will be shared with local primary schools after Christmas. The session finished with a tour of Trend Micro’s impressive workplace and the boys were kindly gifted with a goody bag.
