Engaging Trócaire Video Workshop

Last Friday,, we were fortunate to have Stephen Farley, Post Primary Education Officer for Trócaire, visit a 5th Year Religious Education group for a video workshop.

Our 5th years are currently engaged in developing a video for Trócaire’s new documentary film making programme, The Right Focus, which explores global issues through the lens of short documentary films.

Our DCS students are focusing on Sustainable Development Goal no. 3 - “Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well being for all ages”. This hardworking and innovative team have already conducted a survey with 1st and 5th Years on diet, exercise and modes of transport to school. Two videos have also already been completed with teachers on well being and physical activity.
