Robotics

We cater for all abilities and interests; some like to build, some like to program but all like to have fun! 
We are currently investing in new lego and generic kits. We are very fortunate as these kits, combined with laptops and the students own phone, can program and command the robot.  These kits are an important but fun way to learn how to program a simple device to do complicated tasks.  We set tasks every week. We build platforms. We progress to more complicated tasks like following lines and picking up balls.  All this is done with the students helping each other to master this complicated field.  The students involved in robotics then get a chance to showcase their talent and creativity annually in various competitions around the country. It’s an exciting time in the field as very cheap processors allow programming and remote control.  So many great ideas to try so come along and try it out!
