Finalists in Financial Literacy Quiz

A huge well done to our five senior teams who participated in the Bank of Ireland Secondary Schools Financial Literacy Quiz last week. This exciting day long event was hosted by James Patrice in the RDS in Dublin.

Two teams from DCS have qualified for the national finals out of approximately 150 teams!! The National Final will take place in Trinity College next month where their business knowledge will be put to the test once more with a staggering €25,000 prize on offer for the overall winning school.

The winning teams were Naived Agrawal, Diarmuid Bannon, Yu Chong Lin and Alex De Groot on Team 1 with Luke Broderick, Michael Morley, Evan Smyth and Noah Konan on Team 2. Individually, Adam McCarthy was one of the winners in the catch phrase round. Well done to all and thanks to Ms M Barry for giving the students such a fantastic opportunity.
