Gradam na Scoile 2023

A hugely enjoyable and extremely eventful year concluded as we celebrated the annual DCS Gradam na Scoile. The awards were a fitting celebration to acknowledge and reward the outstanding achievements of our students. The recipients represent what is best here in DCS and they were selected for their excellence in their field by displaying respect, showing perseverance, modelling leadership skills and possessing great integrity. It is a great honour to receive a prestigious DCS Gradam award.

The award categories reflect the vast variety of talents our students have - academic, sporting, musical, humanitarian, public speaking and debating to name but a few. The citations were heartwarming, uplifting and well deserved. The feeling of pride among the assembled parents, students and teachers was palpable as one by one the boys were presented with their bespoke glassware and certificates.

The highlight of the ceremony is the presentation of the school’s highest accolades, the Junior and Senior Gradams followed by The Principal’s Award. These students are the epitome of what DCS represents. They have excelled in all aspects of school, both academically and with their involvement in extracurricular activities.
