German Exchange Students visit the Lord Mayor

The Cologne - Cork exchange is running since 1997. Boys from Douglas Community School, Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh, Presentation girls school in Mitchelstown and the Herder Gymnasium in Cologne were received today by Cllr Derry Canty, on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Cork.

Cork and Cologne are twinned cities and Cork City Hall supports the exchange. A huge thank you to the parents/ guardians of Michael Morley, Cormac Byrne, David Flynn, Jack O Sullivan and Albert Bostan for hosting our German exchange pupils and supporting language learning and acquisition . Without parental support this exchange couldn’t happen . Many thanks to Ms O’Mahony for organising everything.
