Superb Results in Junior Cycle Wood Technology

Students from our Junior Cycle Wood Technology class were awarded an amazing 8 distinctions when they received their state exam results recently. The students were tasked with designing and constructing a footstool, musical award or notice board for their project.

There was an impressive range of skills on display including wood-turning, wood burning, marquetry, joint making and curved lamination. A distinction is the highest grade that can be received and highlights the high quality of work produced by the students.

No doubt all project work will be taking pride of place when they are brought home.👌
