DCS Stands Up With Pride 🏳️🌈
There were many initiatives by the DCS school community this week in support of LGBTQ+.
Following on from the success of Mondays Staff Pride Jumper Day we also had the raising of the pride flag in the 1st year area and the hanging of identity handprints. Here students traced their own handprint writing a word on it that is an important part of their own identity.
TY students decorated the entrance to their area with a wall mural of the pride rainbow which will become a permanent symbol in the school. To close the week, staff wore pride armbands. Well done to all involved.
