Aerodynamic Forces in Action

As part of Science Week, all students had the opportunity to experience forces in everyday life. Students made Brooklyn’s Glider aeroplanes and used their knowledge of aerodynamic forces to design a glider which can travel as far as possible.

Forces are a key aspect of the Junior Cycle Science specification and this activity put the theory they have learned into practice ✈️
