Road Safety Awareness Workshop

This morning our TY students participated in an invaluable interactive workshop with Frank Fitzgerald, the Road Safety Awareness Officer for Cork City Council, as part of their Road Safety Module.

This workshop involved a VR headset demonstration of a car crash where the students were virtual passengers in a simulated car crash. The students also got to participate in an interactive walk with impairment goggles before the session concluded with a road safety discussion.

We hope this new knowledge will positively influence our students as young drivers in the years ahead and help make our roads safer.
