DCS DIG IT!

The School of Irish Archaeology visited DCS recently with the Big Dig, a programme which allows students to explore the Viking world through a simulated archaeological dig.

All Junior School students were given the opportunity to dig for Viking artefacts, hold bones, weapons, tools and jewellery. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience a day in the life of an archaeologist.
