DCS U16 Tennis

The DCS u16 tennis squad, consisting of Oran Power, Ethan O’Leary, Finn Harding and Pablo Flores, grasped victory from the jaws of defeat yesterday. Oran and Pablo needed to win, and did win, the 4th of 4 matches, to tie the contest at 2-2 and force a super-doubles set against opponents Colaiste an Spioraid Naoimh. Despite already being on court for over 3 hours Oran and Ethan stepped up for super-doubles set. They played a tactical and steady set taking it 6-4 giving DCS a hard fought 3 matches to 2 matches victory. Well done to all four players. Next up, an away match against Castletroy after Easter. 🎾🎾
