Exam P.E. Activities

Exciting times for our exam Physical Education classes. Members of our 6th year Leaving Certificate PE class completed the assessment aspect of their LC PE Performance Assessment Project at the Mardyke Sports Complex. They chose the 800m race as their event and are assessed on their ability to design and complete appropriate warm ups and cool downs in addition to their overall performance in this event. Members of our 5th year Leaving Certificate PE class attended a fantastic series of lectures and workshops in MTU Tralee recently. The class had a great day using some of the high tech equipment at the MTU physiology lab, including force plates and optojump. The experience will definitely stand to them come exam time next year.
