Jonathan Solomon - Ireland’s Representative at the European Youth Parliament in Switzerland

Leaving Certificate student Jonathan Solomon is off to Switzerland on Thursday to represent Ireland in the International Session of the European Youth Parliament.

Having competed in the Munster Regional Session in March, then progressing to the National Session in April, Jonathan is one of only 15 students from Ireland to have been chosen following the knockout rounds of selection.

Jonathan has distinguished himself by representing the school at the UCC Philosoph Debating competition and he has also adjudicated at DCS Debating competitions where he is a superb mentor for our younger students. This is a fantastic achievement for Jonathan, the DCS Public Speaking Club and their mentor Ms McCarthy Craig. We wish Jonathan the very best of luck in this prestigious event. 🇮🇪
