Another Busy Term!

Just some of the pictures from another busy term at DCS! Sporting wise we had Cross Country running, Francois Nkoy making the Irish U-18 basketball squad, third year student Pierce McFarlane selected for the U-19 Irish volleyball squad and Cathal Heffernan off to join football giants AC Milan. The Indoor Cricket Training Facility was officially opened in our school gym by Ireland’s Mens Cricket captain, Andrew Balbirnie.
TY students enjoyed a workshop with Cork artist Declan O’Meara and we were proudly represented in the BT Young Scientist Exhibition. Our student/teacher meeting proved a resounding success once again giving the Leaving Certs an opportunity to discuss their own progress with teachers. Finally, fifth year students Billy Murphy and James O’Connor have qualified for the semi-final of the UCC Philosoph Debating Competition.
