Public Speaker Jonathan Solomon to Represent Ireland in Switzerland

5th year student Jonathan Solomon has qualified for the International Session of the European Youth Parliament. This is an organisation that facilitates student debate, discussion, committee work, resolution development and public speaking amongst young people.

Having competed in the Munster regional session in March, and progressing to the National Session in April, Jonathan will now travel to Switzerland in September where he will represent not only DCS but Ireland as well.

Jonathan is one of only 15 students to have been selected out of the whole country following the knockout rounds of selection. This is a great achievement for the DCS Public Speaking Club and their mentors, Ms Harrington and Ms McCarthy Craig. Well done to Jonathan and best of luck in this prestigious event.
