DCS Jazz Concert at St Columba’s NS

The DCS Music Club and the DCS Choir were delighted to perform today in front of an appreciative audience at St Columba’s, our neighbouring girls and boys primary schools. Celebrating the Jazz Festival early the DCS singers and musicians performed a medley of classics such as ‘When The Saints Go Marching In’, ‘The Bare Necessities’ and ‘Hit The Road Jack’ under the arrangement and conducting of Ms Millard, Ms Hurley and Ms Clifford. Classic film theme tunes such as The Pink Panther and James Bond alongside mellow jazz favourites like Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’ captivated the enthralled audience. The concert exemplified the community ethos of DCS and it was a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their talents at a primary school many of them attended. Well done to all involved! 🎶 🎷🎺🤗 🎼🎻🎸🎹🪗🎶
