DCS 3-3 Youghal 2-14

Douglas Community School got off to a bad start, being down by 6 points within 10 minutes of the start. Andrew Forde had a great game scoring 1-2 – his one brilliant goal ending up straight in the top corner of the net. Liam Harris did very well at centre back, as did Seamus Hogan at corner back. Our goalkeeper, Alan Horgan, made many great saves. In the second half two substitutions were made (Nathan Adams and Eoin McCarthy). In the early minutes of the second half we were awarded a penalty which was well taken and struck to the back of the net by Eoin. Despite making a good comeback, we were still behind at the final whistle.
