Car Safety in Douglas Community School

The course is taught by Michael Gleeson of Limerick who brings a dismantled ’06 Toyota Corolla which is named the MOG Car.

The car is stripped to the bare essentials and is used to show cap and fluid identification and seating position to minimize injury in the event of a crash.

The objective of this course is to show drivers that cars can be frail and that drivers are not invincible, through an interactive and interesting course.
