Sports Day ⚽️ 🥅 🏃♂️
There was a great turnout for DCS Sports Day yesterday with all funds raised going to IMNDA - The Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association, a very worthwhile organisation which supports people and their families affected by Motor Neurons Disease.
There was an array of sports on offer to suit all from tug of war to athletics, tag rugby to the welly toss! This year students from all participating year groups were mixed into teams named after various colours and earned points for winning individual competitions.
Volleyball Victory to the Staff!!
The day was rounded off by a very competitive and contentious game of Volleyball between the teachers and the winning colour team. The teachers finally emerged victorious despite protests to the referee! Thanks to Ms Orla Maher for organising such a fantastic event. 🥅 ⚽️
